On September 5th and 6th, 2025, Burundi had the honor of welcoming Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, an international leader, philanthropist, social entrepreneur, and author of 18 books, with over 25 years of experience inspiring youth and leaders across the world.

Recognized among the 100 Most Influential Change Agents in Africa (2023) and the 100 Most Influential Personalities in Ghana (2023), and named Philanthropist of the Year (2017), Dr. Osei-Kusi continues to leave a lasting impact through his commitment to leadership development and education. He serves as President of the Pan-African Leadership Institute (PALI) and the Osei-Kusi Foundation, advancing initiatives that empower young people across Africa.

On September 5th, 2025, Dr. Osei-Kusi was a special guest at the iMboneza Leadership Conference, hosted by its founder Mr. Nahimana Dieudonné. The day’s theme focused on the power of relationships in leadership, highlighting how authentic leadership is built on connection, shared vision, and collaboration. The program included a rich learning session, meaningful networking, and an insightful panel discussion and Q&A, following a warm brunch prepared by Ubuntu Café.

The following day, September 6th, 2025, Dr. Osei-Kusi met with PALI alumni living in Burundi, including Mr. Dieudonné Nahimana, a graduate of the Institute. This special gathering, held over a convivial brunch at Ubuntu Café, created space for discussion, reflection, and deeper connection.

These moments were marked by gratitude for the wisdom shared, the relationships strengthened, and the renewed commitment to values-driven leadership with continental impact.
